Really really weird problem at hand?

I was playing Disgaea 2 on my PSP and found a thief wielding an excalibur. I stole it and for some reason I feel really bad for stealing it and wish I could give it back. Right now I feel really guilty about stealing it and I do not know why. P.S. I didn't recently steal something so I don't think it might be guilt for that.
