I hate people who put a little symbol just so they get first spot to answer. Why?

what do you mean? When they write something small and fast so they can be the first answerer then go back and edit and write the real answer? If thats what you mean then its because most times when people vote for best answers they just randomnly choose the first answer or most times people rate the first answers or read the first answers as opposed to an answer that is like the 23rd one or something
