Does anyone know any good websites you can download ebooks for free in PDF format to open using Acrobat Reader?

Smashwords has a lot of free ebooks in just about every format imaginable (mobi, epub, and pdf, for starters). They are all about the indie author, though, so quality of ebooks will vary a lot. Good luck.
